Atlanta Telugu Christhava Samavesam (Telugu Fellowship) was started by a small group of Telugu Christians in Atlanta Metro area for purpose of worship and fellowship in August 1995. The group started initially with prayer meetings and bible study at individual member’s homes. A year after that, the group decided, in addition to the home prayer meetings, to have a worship service at a Church once a month. God led the group to Brookhaven United Methodist Church, who graciously offered their facility, so the group started having a service every third Saturday of the month, from Jan to October, and on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day in November and December respectively.
